Rico joined Lead in 2005 and came to us with laundry maintenance experience that he gained whist working for a previous company, where he was employed for 4 years. He has accumulated 22 years in the industry. He has worked on industrial laundry equipment – washers, dryers and ironers. He has also had experience with tunnel washers and shuttle conveyor systems.
Rico takes pride in his daily tasks and strives to keep our customers happy.

Craig joined Lead in 2007 at our Johannesburg office. He started right away handling industrial installations and after 2 years, moved on as full time industrial technician.
In March 2021, Craig relocated to our Durban office where he continues adding value after almost 16 years in the field. Another perfectionist who strives for customer satisfaction.

Philani joined the Lead family in 2015, originally as a driver. In 2022 he underwent training at our Johannesburg office to become a technician. He excelled and after working under supervision, was officially promoted as a technician in November 2022.

JP het sedert 2018 op die Speed Queen ® masjiene gewerk. Hy kan werk op die ouer masjiene van 20 jaar plus asook op die nuwe modele wat uit is met die elektroniese meganismes.
Hy se vir ons: “Ek is baie deeglik, toets en ondersoek masjien van bo tot onder. Toets eers die masjien met parte wat vervang is voor finale kwotasie gemaak word. Ek gee die masjien n goeie was en droog voor ek hom oorhandig.”

Our Port Elizabeth office and warehouse now has the support of a new office in East London. This allows us to cover the entire Eastern Cape. He was one of our most experienced senior technicians with unparalleled experience in laundry equipment and in his new role as Service Manager, will impart his knowledge to his team. He is an exercise fanatic, loves motorsport and Oval Track Racing, or to take up adventure motorbiking.

Adriaan is originally from the North West and relocated to East London in March 2012 after he met his wife. Having been in the trade for a total of 12 years, he has working on various manufacturers’ catering and laundry equipment. Adriaan has a strong background in Catering equipment such as combi steamers, ovens and fryers but has undergone intensive training on commercial and industrial laundry equipment at our JHB, CPT and PE branches enabling him to service all our customers in the East London area. He is supported by our team of technicians in the Eastern Cape.
Adriaan reports that the most rewarding part of his job is to have a happy client, after being faced with a challenge on a machine and solving it. His hobbies are cricket, fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

Ruben is the most recent addition to the Eastern Cape team, joining us in May 2022. Ruben is a young man starting out in his career in the laundry industry and has come on in leaps and bounds in the short time that he has been with us. Ruben assists the other technicians when assistance is needed, and in so is improving his skill set and knowledge base. He is eager to learn, committed, and under Mike Sinclair’s guidance he will grow. His exposure so far has been exclusively on the Speed Queen domestic range of products. Rubens hobbies include fishing and camping.
